'No go' pedagogy
This resource articulates some activities that are highly unlikely to present learners with efficient learning opportunities; those that do not make the most of the limited contact time between teacher and learners in the classroom foreign language learning context. Many of these activities are simply the reverse of the positive recommendations made in other NCELP documents. By defining what is outside NCELP’s research-informed pedagogy, we hope to better articulate pedagogies that are most likely to be beneficial.
