Motivation and what we can do about it

In this session Rachel Hawkes briefly reviewed motivation for language learning in the UK context then, leaving aside factors beyond teachers’ control, focused on the practical pedagogy and classroom factors that teachers can influence to increase the intrinsic motivation of students.
